This limited edition print, "Riders Up East", was created from ten original oil paintings. The artist painted ten of the leading riders who ride almost exclusively on the eastern race tracks. The background of each image celebrates the end of the millennium in the paddock at the Saratoga Racetrack in Saratoga Springs, New York.

Mr. Martinez regrets that he could not include all of the many champion race riders. A former jockey himself, he recognizes that there are so many who have and will guide the thoroughbred racehorses onto the winner's circle.

There were only 650 signed and numbered prints and 50 artist proofs published. Currently, there are less than 250 prints available, including 43 artist proofs. The overall image size is 24 X 35 and is printed on Acid Free paper with fade resistant ink. Each comes complete with an affidavit of limited edition and a list of the rider's silks (as pictured below).
